In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Union County Patriots soccer squad scored a close 3-0 triumph over the Cherokee Chiefs.
The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against First Baptist Academy (Powell, TN). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, First Baptist Academy by Concord Christian (Knoxville, TN), 6-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Chiefs battle the University Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 22. Cherokee will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to West Greene (Mosheim, TN).
