Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT), 5-4 in a league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes confront the Payson Lions (Payson, UT) in a 5A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, April 22. Tooele will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT).

The Utes now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Stansbury for a 5A Region 7 challenge on Friday, April 22. Uintah will confront a Stallions team coming off a 2-1 league win over Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT). The Stallions record now stands at 8-4.
