Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY), 10-3 in a league challenge.

The Plainsmen now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Colonie Central for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, April 22. Shenendehowa will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Averill Park falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY) to face the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Monroe-Woodbury won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY)
