Idaho High School Softball - Malad bounces Bear Lake

April 20, 2022: Malad, ID 83252

The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) and the visiting Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID), saw Malad's softball squad achieve victory over Bear Lake by a count of 11-1.

The Dragons now sport a 14-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Snake River for a non-league match on Thursday, April 21. Malad will face a Panthers squad coming off a 18-8 non-league win over South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Bear Lake falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to West Side (Dayton, ID) to face the Pirates in a 2A South East Idaho match on Thursday, April 21. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 14-2. West Side won 11-1 in their recent league match against Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID)
