Bethel Bees (Tipp City, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lehman Catholic Cavaliers (Sidney, OH), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Bees now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Covington for a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, April 21. Bethel will battle a Buccs squad coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Northridge (Dayton, OH). The Buccs record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Lehman Catholic falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Miami East (Casstown, OH) to battle the Vikings in a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. Miami East won 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Riverside (De Graff, OH)
