In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Dakota Cougars softball team scored a close 13-8 win over the Walled Lake Northern Knights.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) in a Macomb Area - White outing, on Thursday, April 21. Dakota will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 9-6 league loss to Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI).

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Allen Park (Allen Park, MI). The Jaguars enter the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Allen Park tipped Taylor (Taylor, MI), 15-0, in a league outing.
