St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 13-7 in a league challenge.

The North Stars now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Park for a DuKane challenge on Friday, April 22. St. Charles North will face a Lancers squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Geneva falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Vikings host St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to face the Fighting Saints in a DuKane challenge on Friday, April 22. The Fighting Saints enter the challenge with a record of 11-2. St. Charles East won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)
