New York High School Softball - Wayland-Cohocton bounces Hammondsport

Wayland-Cohocton Eagles (Wayland, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hammondsport Lakers (Hammondsport, NY), 28-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneseo for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Wayland-Cohocton will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 25-0 non-league loss to Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Hammondsport falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lakers host Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY) to face the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
