Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Stadium Tigers (Tacoma, WA), 12-11 in a league challenge.

The Abes now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Spanaway Lake for a 3A Pierce County challenge on Friday, April 22. Lincoln will battle a Sentinels squad coming off a 26-6 league loss to Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA). The Sentinels record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Stadium falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, WA) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. Bellevue lost 5-4 in their recent league bout against Juanita (Kirkland, WA)
