Northridge Raiders (Middlebury, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Huntington North for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. Northridge will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, NorthWood falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Wawasee (Syracuse, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Northern Lakes challenge on Friday, April 22. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Wawasee won 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN)
