The Rock Hill Bearcats softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host South Pointe Stallions to 20 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Rock Hill moves its record to 5-13 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Trojans in a AAAAA Region 4 game on Friday, April 22. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 0-6.
In their next game, the Stallions play the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 game, on Friday, April 22. South Pointe will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Copperheads come into the game with a 17-2 record after their 23-7 non-league win over Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC).
