The Shadow Mountain Matadors softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Thunderbird Titans to 9 in the Matadors league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Shadow Mountain improves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Matadors travel to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Demons in a 4A Skyline game on Friday, April 22. The Demons come into the game with a record of 23-3. Greenway won 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Mingus (Cottonwood, AZ)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Moon Valley Rockets (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Skyline game, on Thursday, April 21. Thunderbird will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Rockets come into the game with a 4-12 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ).
