The Leadership Academy Falcons softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Triad Math and Science Academy Tigers to 6 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Leadership Academy improves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Falcons travel to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a Northwest Piedmont 1A game on Monday, April 25. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 9-2. Cornerstone Charter won 4-0 in their recent non-league match against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)

With the loss, Triad Math and Science Academy moves to 0-5 on the season. The Tigers host Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Friday, April 22. The Hawks go into the match with a record of 10-4. Forsyth Home Educators lost 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Walkertown (Walkertown, NC)
