Connecticut High School Baseball - Portland loses to East Hampton

The East Hampton Bellringers crushed the visiting Portland Highlanders baseball team by a count of 9-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bellringers now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coginchaug Regional for a Shoreline - Large bout on Monday, April 24. East Hampton will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.

Next, the Highlanders face the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 22. Portland will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 8-2 record after their 8-5 league win over Coventry (Coventry, CT).
