Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Hopewell loses to Riverside

April 20, 2023: Ellwood City, PA 16117

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) and the visiting Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), saw Riverside's baseball squad knock off Hopewell by a count of 8-0.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 game, on Monday, May 1. Riverside will attempt to improve on its 10-0 season record.

The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Warriors go into the WPIAL 4A 1 game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Central Valley was overwhelmed by Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA), 7-3, in a non-league game.
