Virginia High School Baseball - Rye Cove loses to J.I. Burton

In Thursday's league game, the host J.I. Burton Black Raiders baseball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Rye Cove Eagles.
The Black Raiders (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Titans go into the Cumberland game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Twin Springs was overwhelmed by Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA), 12-1, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Castlewood (Castlewood, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Cumberland game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Castlewood ran past Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
