The Stagg Chargers baseball team (Palos Hills, IL), was overwhelmed 11-3 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL)

The Knights now hold a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Romeoville for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 22. Lincoln-Way Central will confront a Spartans team coming off a 6-4 league win over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 8-11.

Next, the Chargers confront the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 22. Stagg will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 12-4 record after their 17-2 league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
