In Thursday's league game, the host Northampton County Jaguars baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Weldon Chargers.
The Jaguars (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles go into the Tar Roanoke 1A game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Warren County tipped Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC), 11-4, in a league game.
