The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA) and the visiting Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Antioch, CA), saw Making Waves Academy's volleyball squad nip Cornerstone Christian by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Making Waves Academy upgrades its record to 5-11 on the year.
