In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors soccer squad scored a close 7-1 triumph over the Monticello Mustangs.
The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record.
The Mustangs (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Charlottesville nudged Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
