Next, the Eagles confront the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 21. Auburn will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 10-0 league win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA).

The Bears now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Galax for a Mountain Empire challenge on Monday, April 24. Bland County will confront a Maroon Tide team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Auburn (Riner, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 2-5.
