Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 24. Oxford will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL).
The Wildcats now have a 4-10 record.
