The Parkland Mustangs soccer team scored 3 points and limited the host South Stokes Sauras to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Mustangs face the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A contest, on Monday, April 24. Parkland will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 12-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).
The Sauras now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Airy for a Northwest 1A contest on Monday, April 24. South Stokes will face a Granite Bears team coming off a 4-0 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 13-0.
