The Draughn Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting East Burke Cavaliers to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 1-10 record. In their last match, Patton was overwhelmed by East Rutherford (Forest City, NC), 19-1, in a non-league match.
The Cavaliers (4-8) will now prepare for their match against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, West Lincoln was overwhelmed by Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 10-3, in a non-league match.
