In Thursday's non-league game, the host Narrows Green Waves baseball team scored a nice 19-0 victory over the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues.
The Green Waves (12-1) will now prepare for their game against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Auburn was overwhelmed by Galax (Galax, VA), 24-11, in a non-league game.
The Fighting Blues (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors go into the non-league game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Nelson County overcame William Campbell (Naruna, VA), 7-0, in a non-league game.
