Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Highlanders confront the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 24. Glenvar will attempt to move on its 10-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 5-0 non-league win over James River (Buchanan, VA).
The Golden Eagles now possess a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Fleming for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. Staunton River will confront a Colonels team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 2-4.
