Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), 8-4 in a league test.

The Guardians now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iona Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, April 22. Glastonbury will face a Gaels squad coming off a 14-6 league win over Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY). The Gaels record now stands at 5-2.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 22. Avon will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The River Hawks come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 16-7 league win over Berlin (Berlin, CT).
