In Thursday's league contest, the Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) lacrosse squad edged the host Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV), by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies confront the Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 22. Galena will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record.

The Miners now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Reno for a HSLL contest on Wednesday, May 3.
