Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) and the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX), witnessed Alpine's softball squad prevail over Kermit by a count of 11-1.

The Bucks now sport a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Presidio for a 3A Region I District 4 match on Monday, April 24. Alpine will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 15-4 league win over Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Kermit moves to 0-8 on the season.
