The Amelia County Raiders softball team scored 22 runs and limited the visiting Prince Edward County Eagles to 0 in the Raiders league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Amelia County improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Raiders travel to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA) to clash with the Chargers in a James River game on Tuesday, April 25. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 6-0. Lunenburg Central won 9-5 in their recent league game against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a James River game, on Tuesday, April 25. Prince Edward County will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Statesmen come into the game with a 9-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA).
