Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Bisons now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Penn Cambria for a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge on Friday, April 21. Bedford will face a Panthers squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Greater Johnstown falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Trojans host Windber (Windber, PA) to face the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. The Ramblers enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Windber won 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA)
