Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they host T.L. Hanna for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Belton-Honea Path will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Southside falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wren (Piedmont, SC) to battle the Hurricanes in a AAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, April 21. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Wren won 13-9 in their recent league challenge against Powdersville (Greenville, SC)
