The Central Square Redhawks (Central Square, NY) softball routed the visiting Syracuse Cougars (Syracuse, NY), 15-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Redhawks (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Chittenango (Chittenango, NY). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Chittenango toppled Phoenix (Phoenix, NY), 15-0, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Jamesville-DeWitt for a Section 3 Freedom bout on Tuesday, April 25. Syracuse will confront a Red Rams squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Pittsford (Pittsford, NY). The Red Rams record now stands at 3-1.
