Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Colts now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buckeye for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Cloverleaf will battle a Bucks squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Northwestern (West Salem, OH). The Bucks record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Woodridge falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Coventry (Akron, OH) to battle the Comets in a Portage Trail - Metro challenge on Friday, April 21. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Coventry won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Ravenna (Ravenna, OH)
