Vallivue Falcons (Caldwell, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID), 19-13 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Kelly for a 4A Southern Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Vallivue will battle a Knights squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Emmett (Emmett, ID). The Knights record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Columbia falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Skyview (Nampa, ID) to battle the Hawks in a 4A Southern Idaho challenge on Friday, April 21. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 10-7. Skyview won 13-4 in their recent league challenge against Ridgevue (Nampa, ID)
