In Thursday's league contest, the Franklin County Tech Eagles (Turners Falls, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host Smith Academy Falcons (Hatfield, MA), by a margin of 26-4.

With the triumph, Franklin County Tech moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Eagles host Lee (Lee, MA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, April 21. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 0-1.

In their next game, the Falcons play the Pioneer Valley Regional Panthers (Northfield, MA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 24. Smith Academy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
