The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Newmarket Mules (Newmarket, NH) and the host Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH), saw Newmarket's softball squad achieve victory over Franklin by a count of 17-7.
The Mules now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilton-Lyndeborough for a Division IV match on Monday, April 24.
With the loss, Franklin falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Portsmouth Christian Academy (Dover, NH) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, April 21. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-0.
