Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Westland Cougars (Galloway, OH), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Greyhounds now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Sheridan for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Grove City will battle a Generals squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH). The Generals record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Westland falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Grandview Heights (Columbus, OH) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Grandview Heights lost 14-11 in their recent league game against Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH)
