In Thursday's league outing, the host Holy Name Green Wave softball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Lakewood Rangers.
Coming up next, the Green Wave encounter the Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) in a Great Lakes outing, on Monday, April 24. Holy Name will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Invaders enter the outing with a 8-6 record after their 9-7 league loss to Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH).
The Rangers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Buckeye (Medina, OH). The Bucks enter the Great Lakes outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Buckeye was tipped by Northwestern (West Salem, OH), 12-2, in a non-league outing.
