The crowd at Thursday's league match between the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) and the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), saw South Rowan's softball squad achieve victory over Lake Norman Charter by a count of 14-4.

The Raiders now sport a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Carson for a South Piedmont 3A match on Monday, April 24. South Rowan will face a Cougars squad coming off a 5-3 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Lake Norman Charter falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to face the Vikings in a South Piedmont 3A match on Monday, April 24. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 12-4. Central Cabarrus lost 10-1 in their recent league match against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC)
