The Lancers now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Portage Northern for a Southwestern Michigan - West challenge on Wednesday, April 26. Lakeshore will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Buchanan (Buchanan, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Mattawan falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Hudsonville won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI)
