The Lakeside Lancers (Lake Elsinore, CA) softball routed the host Rancho Verde Mustangs (Moreno Valley, CA), 11-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Lancers (3-8) will now prepare for their bout against Elsinore (Wildomar, CA). The Tigers go into the Sunbelt bout with a 10-7 record. In their last bout, Elsinore notched a victory over Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA), 9-2, in a league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Paloma Valley for a Sunbelt bout on Friday, April 21. Rancho Verde will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Orange Vista (Perris, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-10.
