Ohio High School Softball - Margaretta bounces Port Clinton

April 20, 2023: Port Clinton, OH 43452

The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Margaretta Polar Bears (Castalia, OH) and the host Port Clinton Redskins (Port Clinton, OH), saw Margaretta's softball squad nip Port Clinton by a count of 7-2.

The Polar Bears now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Western Reserve for a non-league match on Saturday, April 22. Margaretta will face a Roughriders squad coming off a 18-6 league loss to South Central (Greenwich, OH). The Roughriders record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Port Clinton falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Bowsher (Toledo, OH) to face the BlueRacers in a non-league match on Friday, April 21. The BlueRacers enter the match with a record of 1-1. Bowsher lost 10-0 in their recent league match against Start (Toledo, OH)
