With the loss, Marmaton Valley falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Chetopa (Chetopa, KS) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Monday, April 24. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 0-3. Chetopa lost 17-2 in their recent non-league match against St. Paul (St. Paul, KS)
