Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Dukes now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Isle of Wight Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Windsor will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Nandua falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Northampton (Eastville, VA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a Eastern Shore game on Tuesday, April 25. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 5-2. Northampton lost 22-0 in their recent league game against Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA)
