Peebles Indians (Peebles, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays (Ripley, OH), 10-5 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Paint Valley for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Peebles will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-12.

With the loss, Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Blue jays travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, OH) to face the G-Men in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. The G-Men enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Georgetown won 10-9 in their recent league challenge against Blanchester (Blanchester, OH)
