Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Firebirds now own a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Nash for a The Big East 2A/3A game on Tuesday, April 25. Southern Nash will clash with a Knights team coming off a 19-4 league win over Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Knights record now stands at 7-10.
