In Saturday's league game, the host Carroll County Cavaliers baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the James River Knights.
The Cavaliers (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Grayson County was overwhelmed by Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 9-8, in a league game.
The Knights (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Buffaloes go into the Three Rivers game with a 2-12 record. In their last game, Floyd County was overwhelmed by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 9-0, in a league game.
