Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Air Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Kadets host Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO) to battle the Cyclones in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 24. The Cyclones come into the test with a record of 9-1. Pueblo West won 18-6 in their recent non-league test against Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO)

With the defeat, Cheyenne Mountain falls to 4-5 on the season. The Red-tailed hawks travel to Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO) to battle the Rangers in a test on Wednesday, April 24. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 5-3. Lewis-Palmer won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO)
