Louisiana High School Softball - Ascension Catholic bounces St. Frederick

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) and the visiting St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA), saw Ascension Catholic's softball squad nip St. Frederick by a count of 11-5.
The Bulldogs now sport a 18-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Opelousas Catholic for a non-league match on Friday, April 26. Ascension Catholic will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 24-6.
With the loss, St. Frederick falls to 19-10 on the campaign.
